What are PennyGrab.com Auctions? How do I win?

Each and every day, people discover PennyGrab.com and often have questions about penny auctions, how they work and how they differ from auction bidding websites like Quibids and eBay. Since we love to answer questions and welcome new players to our auctions, we hope to be able to answer a few of your questions.

What are Penny Auctions?
PennyGrab Auctions are a new and exciting way to win items you would typically spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on through traditional shopping methods. Our #1 goal with PennyGrab was to stand out from the rest of the competition and provide more savings, fun, and an awesome user experience.

With PennyGrab Auctions, you initially purchase what we call a "Credit Pack". After you have purchased your credits, you can then use those credits to place bids on the items that interest you the most.

With most Bidding Sites on the web, you have to constantly be watching 2 things. First, monitor and take notes on who is bidding on the same item. Second, watch the timer and make sure you constantly are monitoring how much time is left. We here at PennyGrab.com differ, there is no timer in the majority of our auctions. Our auctions can end within seconds with our Blitz feature. (We do have timer auctions called Fire Grabs Penny Auctions which utilize timers. Watch our video to find out more information.

As our Members place their bids on the items they want, the price goes up by .01¢ (one penny) until the Hidden Random Reserve price is met. Whoever matches the randomly generated reserve price which we call "Deal Price" with their bid, WINS that item!

What is Buy Now?
With a few exceptions, all of our PennyGrab Auctions feature our Buy Now option for each and every Member to take advantage of. For our Penny Auctions, there are two of every item up for grabs. The first can be won via our standard penny auction method of winning. The second identical item starts at its MSRP (retail price). As the bidding process goes through its course on the first item, each additional bid placed for the first item lowers the Buy Now price for the second identical item. Any Member who has purchased a Credit Pack within the past 30 days can purchase the Buy Now item for whatever price it is being shown for, no matter how low that price drops to!

Fly By Night Penny Auction Sites (aka: scams)
As with all things on the internet, every person needs to research and familiarize themselves with what bidding websites are legitimate and which are scams! There are literally hundreds of these fly by night companies who want nothing more than your money. We here at PennyGrab.com take a proactive (albeit, behind the scenes) stance in dealing with scam websites.
